The Western Gazette featured a story that focused on students with drug addiction on campus in April 2019. It dispelled stereotypes about what kind of people are more likely to face addiction. The cover was a 1 day project.
The story highlighted students’ being unable to attend to their regular activities due to addiction. I wanted to show these activities within the pill to signify that students can’t access what they normally do because it comes at the expense of taking the pill. A student’s ability to do regular activities is now tied to their addiction; by putting the two together, it shows how intertwined the two have become in the student’s life.
